MY WORK IS INSPIRED BY TEXTURE, PATTERNS AND COLORS FOUND IN NATURE. MY FOCUS IS TO MAGNIFY THE BEAUTY OF NATURE WHILE INCORPORATING DIGITAL, TRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL MATERIALS.
THROUGH DESIGN, I PORTRAY TRENDS, TECHNOLOGY, FASHION, ART, ANIMALS, PLANTS, LANDSCAPES, CULTURE AND FORCES OF GOOD AND EVIL TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL EYE-CATCHING AND UNIQUE DESIGNS. EACH DESIGN IS PERFECTLY CRAFTED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER AND CLIENT.

About Andrena
Andrena earned a B.F.A in Studio Art- Fibers/Textiles with a concentration in metals and jewelry making from the University of North Texas in 2012. She completed a Google UX/UI certification in 2024. She earned a post graduated certification in UX/UI (User experience/website & app development) from the University of Texas at Austin in 2025. She adores product creation and user experience!
Andrena has obtained 14 years of industry experience of product development, design, production, and pre-production with various products such as digital websites, mobile app's, textiles, fine art prints, CPG's, cleaning products, liquid/powdered goods, personal care, beauty cosmetics, hard goods and soft goods. In addition to managing intellectual property, licensing, trademarks, copyrights, and patented digital assets.
Andrena is very knowledgeable of various print & applique techniques, manufacturing processes. She has a creative passion for creating original digital graphic, and hand sketched graphic repeat patterns/designs/mockups. Andrena has obtained valuable skills of preparing tech packs, creating design briefs, coordinating calendar, due dates, pipelines, assisting with photoshoots, private label brands identity, licensing, new launches, relaunches and new packaging creation. Communicating with global vendors, managing costing, trend research, competitive analysis, receiving, shipping orders/samples for clients, sales representatives, direct sales consultants, account executives, omnichannel retailers, buyers and wholesalers.

TEXTILE GRAPHIC DESIGN
/ SURFACE PATTERN
DESIGN
Andrena enjoys creating patterns for multiple products. She uses programs such as Adobe photoshop, illustrator, and procreate. As well as traditional watercolor and acrylic painting, hand dyeing and printing techniques to create trendy fashion forward textile graphic patterns. AI Is used to speed up workflow process.
Andrena earned a professional graphic design certification from CAL California Arts Institute in 2026, In addition to the Adobe Graphic Designer Certificate.
She also completed IMMERSION TEXILE DESIGN course in 2026.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
/ PHYSICAL PRODUCT DESIGN
She has experience designing and developing products such as bedding, pet beds, pillows, rugs, bathmats, apparel, textiles. Andrena has 11 years of product development, production and pre-production product management experience with products such as fine art prints, CPG's, hard goods, cleaning products, cosmetics, apparel: mens, boys, girls, juniors women's, sleepwear, shapewear and intimate apparel, athleisure and wovens. She loves to collaborate, has strong communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
She completed a certification in 3D cad design in 2026, and 3D printing certification in 2025.

FIBER / TEXTILE ART
Andrena earned a B.F.A in Studio Art- Fibers/Textiles with a concentration in metals and jewelry making from the University of North Texas in 2012. Andrena's surface design work is created through a variety of hand dyeing, print and hand manipulation techniques. When she is surface designing, she uses techniques such as block print, devore / burnout, screen print, silk screen, silk painting, and a variety of dyeing techniques. She uses hand embroidery, machine and hand knitting and applique techniques to enhance her prints.
The majority of Andrena's fiber art is handwoven on a floor loom. She uses materials such as wool, cotton, polyester, vinyl, plastic, sisal, synthetic furs, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and additional materials to convey different textures.
